Syrup

Recipe
1cup brown sugar
1cup white sugar
1cup water
Stir, then let boil.
We were making pancakes for lunch and Kate was set to make the syrup.  I come in the living-room from having to change because Joshua has made it his place to declare me "Miss Spit-Up-Rag", and I smell something like burning sugar, I rush into the kitchen and check the syrup, I find burning sugar, creating smoke all over the room. I move the pan off the stove and stir the sugar frantically  hoping to help stop the burning sugar. Then mom came in and moved the pan into the sink. While washing the pan Kate explained that she hadn't head mom explain about the 1cup of water part. I thought it was pretty funny that one of the most important parts was the one she forgot! I thought she'd realize that you don't boil sugar. Oh well. It was pretty funny.

Fastest Kitten Give-Away Known to Man Kind!

Sunday our kittens were old enough to go so the three put on reserve we gave away that day. But our Aunt Amy and Uncle Seth had to give the two kittens they had to give them back, because Aunt Amy had a bad allergic reaction and had to give them back.  So all we had given so away so far was Blizzard. But the real sale started on Monday we put up an add on KSL, and about thirty minutes later we had some people call and then came about thirty minutes later to pick up two boy kittens.  They chose out the two whitest Fluffball and Pipstick, and they told us about why we had Siamese looking boy cats when Twix mated with a grey male cat. Apparently the wife is in vet-tech.  Then not too long later another lady called about the kittens she came and took Rachel. And then about twelve hours after we put up the add more people came and took Dusty. Then we had to put as that the kittens were SOLD so we wouldn't get any more calls since we had already had two extras. It was the fastest I'd ever known kittens to be sold.

That is a picture we put on the add. (The kittens would not stay together for more than two seconds) It contains Dusty(The darkest of the boys), Fluffball(the shortest haired boy), Pipstick (The whitest), and Rachel(The only girl, shortest haired, and the only grey one)

Yellow

We were doing shapes and colors with Joseph when we got to colors. We showed Joseph the color Red  he said, "wed"
 Blue. "bue"
Orange. "orang"
Purple. "Yellow"
" No Joey it's purple. Say Purple"
"Yellow"
"Nope"
"Yellow" 
"Purple"
"Yellow"
"No!"
"Pappul"
Pink. "Yellow"
"Nope"
"Yellow"

"No!"

"Yeah" Go over again. For each one including black he says yellow. We go until he get's it. Which took quite a while.

Shopping for Fathers Day

So we had just gone to Wheeler Farms with my friend Bonnie and were all heading to get ice cream. Then we got to the Sugar House area and Mom remembered that we needed to get some copics for Fathers Day. So she pulled up to a parking lot and told me and Kate to run in with her debit card to go buy dad 4 copic markers. Of course we wanted to show Bonnie the art store we go to. So when me, Kate, and Bonnie walked in she was amazed at how much art supplies there was. Kate asked a worker if we could see the copics. He led us over and showed us and so we picked out four and went to the cash register. When we got there we handed them to the lady, she wrung them up and then said that it'd be $24. We handed her  mom's debit card. She turned around to her co workers and asked, "Do we ID little girls?"
"What?" said  one of the two co-workers
"Do we ID little girls using a credit card?" she asked again.
"Debit" I said.
The co-workers stared in utter silence at us until one.... Shrugged his shoulders.
"Just put it under Diane Robertson," Kate said interrupting the silence. 
"Do you have the pin?" the lady inquired.
" Yes I do," I said.
We finished paying and walked out the with confused and suspicious stares following us.

Party

So I went to my friend Stephenie's  birthday party the plan was to go to her house for dinner and then go to Raging Waters and go swimming. So when I got there I was the second person and my friend gave us a tour of her house until people arrived. When at least almost everybody was there we went outside and started eating. Dinner was orange soda, pizza, jelly beans, and pretzels. I took a slice of the pizza so I wasn't rude. Almost immediately after we had started everyone arrive who were for sure coming. There were six of us: me, Stephanie, Kylie, Emily, Kate, and Maddie. While eating we had some odd conversations, but what do you expect when all of us are very random gals. She said you don't have to bring a gift. And of course, we ALL DID. It was getting chilly out and the sky was a deep gray. All of us were at least kinda worried about if we really would go swimming. When we all had finished Stephenie's mom brought out the presents. None were huge but all were small expensive or not. When she pulled out mine she showed everyone my doodles. My face fell in my hands. She did think they were good. Although I didn't. Then she opened the card. I think she liked it, but she was ecstatic that she got money so she could buy what she wanted. When she had finished opening they brought out the cheesecake with 8 candles although it was 5 candles short. We lit them were singing happy birthday when a wind blew them out, but they blazed back up. When she blew them out the parents were wondering why they didn't light back up. Apparently they were those trick candles. I think it was just too windy outside. After that we split up into two cars and headed to Raging Waters. I was in a car with Stephanie's mom, Emily, Kate and myself. We talked and played the alphabet game. When we got to Raging waters we stopped before going in. Stephanie's parents talked about if it were too cold. And of course it was so we decided to go to the Classic Fun Center. It took about 40 min. to get to Layton from SLC. When we got to the Classic Fun Center since it was for a birthday party we got to get a special room to just party in. Stephanie's mom got us some lemonade and pixie-sticks. For and hour we just danced, drank soda, sang, ate, and we partied. But during the first 15-30min. some boys kept bugging us. After an hour of partying and Kylie telling the annoying unknown boys that she hates them, them asking why her saying she just does, partying, more partying, etc. We went to play laser tag. We were doing teams. Me and Stephanie were on opposite teams and accidentally banged into each other. During that her gun hit my cheek and still it hurts when I talk, smile, frown, etc. After that I was at her back. So just when she was about to shoot somebody her gun wouldn't work,and apparently she'd been shot.. That was all my revenge. After a fun game of laser tag where my team won (YES!!) we went back to the room to party some more. There we found that somebody had been in, drunken the Root Beer, messed with our stuff and left the door open. We were upset! But we decided to try and shrug it off, so we partied some more. :) Soon we were all tired out and decided to do some games. So we got some tokens, and played some games. Two games cheated me so I told the a person who worked there about it he went over fixed it but had to pull out some tickets in order to. Then the machine finally gave me my tickets, and then he gave me the extras. I was happy going up to claim my prize(s). I got a friendship necklace and a popper thing, and then let Stephanie pick one. She picked the popper thing. Finally it was time to go home. We got in the same cars and they drove us home. On finding my house we got lost for about 5min.and then we found our way again. When I got home I said goodbye. They left and I was happy again. And it was about 9:30. It was very fun!  

Doodling Problems

My doodling problems are getting worse, and I don't know what to do. Even my teachers could tell. If I forgot my name on a paper they could tell because of the doodles. Now I was making a card for my friends birthday so    I put it in an envelope. It was plain white. Plain WHITE! To plain for a birthday envelope if you ask me! So I added a small drawing, and then it became bigger and bigger. Until the whole envelope was drawn and colored. Now what do I do? Mom says it's fine, but I think it's at least a tad bit out of control. Okay. Okay. A big problem. But what do I do? Help me out! (Or just agree with mom)I'm thinking I might just leave it, but I don't know. We'll see how my friend reacts.
